Training Classes

The Eastern Suburbs Dog Training Club runs obedience training for puppies and adult dogs and activity classes for adult dogs on most Sunday mornings on the grounds beside Musgrave Avenue in Centennial Park, in the heart of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

After an initial training programme, in Puppy Classes and/or Adult Dog Beginners, you and your dog will automatically progress to Adult Dog Class 1. Thereafter progression to advanced level classes is earned by passing promotion tests.

Puppy Classes

Puppy Classes are suitable for dogs aged 12 weeks to under 6 months. The Club runs a 6 week programme for puppies, followed by automatic progression to Week 4 of the Adult Dog Beginners Classes.

Progression from Puppy Class to Week 4 of Adult Dog Beginners and from Adult Beginners to Class 1 is automatic at the end of 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the stream joined. From then on, promotion tests must be passed for progression to the more advanced classes.
