Eastern Suburbs Dog Training Club

On the backpage of the June/July edition of PawPrints (click here to download a PDF copy), is a nomination form for the Club's 2011/12 Committee and Office Bearers.

The Committee are volunteers who oversee the running and direction of the Club on behalf of its Members. With the assistance of our invaluable Helpers, Committee Members are on the grounds most Sundays from 7:30 to 11:30am to set up and pack away for training, process registrations and renewals, work on the equipment table and Inspection Line, and even serve the tea and coffee! And many of the current Committee are also Instructors.

Outside of Sundays, the Committee, and Office Bearers in particular, record memberships and renewals, deal with correspondence, do the banking and accounts and any number of other chores that need to be done to keep the Club functioning (including publishing PawPrints!).

In addition, the Committee meets one evening a month to deal with Club matters and to plan special events such as our annual Obedience Trial, “Encouragement” trials and the Xmas Fun Day.

Nominations for all Committee positions must be made in writing (on the nomination form) and given to the Club Secretary on or before Sunday 14th August.

The Election of Committee and Office Bearers will be held during the Club’s Annual General Meeting at 9:45am on Sunday 11th September.
