The Club is running a Mock Obedience Trial on Sunday 26th June for Members wanting to have a try or practise Obedience Trialing.
Class 3/4 Members are encouraged to enter the Mock Trial. Class 2 members who may be thinking of doing the Class 2 to 3 promotion test in the near future may also enter if they feel ready - just talk to your Instructor and see what they advise.
Founding Club Member and Obedience Trial Judge, Vicki Etherington OAM will be judging the trial, which will be based on exercises from the Community Companion Dog (CCD) Obedience Title, including: Heel on Lead; Stand for Exam; Recall; 1 Minute Sit Stay; and 2 Minute Down Stay.
Entry forms need to be completed and given to the Mock Trial Secretary, Kate (Fangi the Greyhound's owner) on Sunday 19th June - if you don't have an entry form, then see Kate on Sunday 19th.
The Mock Trial will commence at 9 o'clock after general announcements and will continue into the 2nd hour (from 10 to 11 o'clock) if necessary. Please note, there will be no regular Class 3/4 training on Sunday 26th. Normal Ground Fees apply for participants, with the Inspection Line open from 8.30am
