The Club marks the end of our dog training year with a Xmas Fun Day on Sunday 12th December. Along with old favourites such as Fancy Dress (for dog and handler) and Waggliest Tail (for dogs!), Heather Martyn is working on new fun events for you and your dog.

There will be an awards ceremony for obedience trialers, a sausage sizzle and cold drinks and a raffle of Xmas hampers. Non-perishable donations for the hampers can be made at the registration desk on Sundays up until 5th December.

It’s also rumoured that Santa will be there, offering a photo opportunity of your good dog with Santa!

Ground fees will not be charged, however, all dogs must go over the Inspection Line to compete in the events. The Inspection Line will open at 8:30am and the Fun Day will begin at 9am promptly, with the last prizes and Xmas ham-pers handed out by 11am.

Please note: The Xmas Fun Day is a fun morning for you, your dog and your family. However, for insurance reasons, only registered Club Members can take part in the events.

There will be no classes on the 12th, which is the Club’s last Sunday for 2010. Training resumes at the Club on Sunday 30th January 2011.

The Club wishes all Members, their families and their dogs a happy and safe Xmas and New Year period.
